Re: [DOWNLOAD] PlayStation 1 BIOS Collection

I dumped it years ago
That one isn't documented in MESS, so would be nice if you could provide some info or the actual BIOS file. TIA

Those just contains CRC, MD5 and SHA1 only.
The dumps are easy to find.. just google the filenames

Re: [DOWNLOAD] PlayStation 1 BIOS Collection

The SCPH5000.bin file that you added is a confirmed bad dump. The correct SCPH-5000 dump matches the DTL-H1200 and the DTL-H3000, at least, according to MESS ( http://git.redump.net/mame/tree/src/mess/drivers/psx.c ) and according to logic :D

Like I said, it's identical to the 5552 dump that was already linked.

Also, as I pointed out before, the SCPH-5001 doesn't exists, so it should be removed from the first post and also from this post http://www.psxdev.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=573

Re: [DOWNLOAD] PlayStation 1 BIOS Collection

SCPH-5502 should have the same BIOS as SCPH-5552...

you will find that the redump.org BIOS collection is much more accurate/complete:

http://redump.org/datfile/psx-bios/
http://redump.org/datfile/ps2-bios/

Re: How to dump your CDROM BIOS (Firmware)

I think he's worried about copyrights. By the way, you listed a SCPH-5001 in the download thread as missing, but that model doesn't exist... Wikipedia's had this wrong for years (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlayStation_models and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File: ... rboard.jpg ).
