Re: SIOCONS compatible USB Cable

Hey, I got one of those ultra common FTDI breakout boards for the FT232RL and of course it came with a fake chip. I found it easier, in my local context, to reuse the breakout board and install a legitimate FTDI FT232RL, and it seems to have worked pretty well as it committed the input inversion co...

Re: Where to get a good replacement for a bad laser, or possible further adjustments?

I never had any luck with those drives either, they're really subpar... You can either buy a KSM-440BAM from TotalConsole or buy a used PSOne and take a gamble that the laser is still in working order. http://totalconsole.com/KSM-440BAM-Laser-Lens-Drive-For-Sony-PS1-PlayStation-1-PSOne-PS-One--BRAND...

Re: About a serious security issue with the forum

The DDOS check makes this site unusable for me sometimes. I gotta do stupid captchas all the damn time here, it's really aggravating.

Re: PocketStation Save Manager

Cool tool! I came across this by chance and I think you should really consider re-releasing it under another name. Why? Because I'm the owner of Zero Pocketstations and yet this was very useful. You know how usually people will tell you to use uLaunchElf on a PS2 to manipulate PS1 save files? Well, ...

PIC12F683 MM3 port?

I recently tried to follow MrMario's video tutorial on how to write MM3 to a 12c508a but I'm pretty disappointed considering the PIC burner he recommended (K150) failed to correctly set the fuses on all spares I had. I checked it both with the K150 itself and with my Pickit3 (which sadly doesn't sup...

Re: PSn00bSDK - My very own PS1 SDK project

Hi guys, first post here. Just found out about your SDK, it's wonderful that someone is actually working in a fully featured replacement to Sony's stuff which was always a turn off for myself (it IS illegal to use it, let's not kid ourselves here). Information is a little bit hard to find since it's...
