Does psy-q sdk not have a function to handle serial input?

Is there any way to control psx with MIDI? I want to do VJ by using psx in tip tune. If I can use MIDI with psx, it will be possible to control the audio reactive video. It seems to be possible by hacking the serial port or the controller port. Is there anyone who knows the details? だれか教えて
