Re: PlayStation PAL Series Colour/Color Modification (PAL60)
The later model PAL machines (SCPH-7002, SCPH-7502 and SCPH-9002) will produce NTSC-4.43 when running NTSC software. This was the output format typically used by multi-standard VCRs when playing back NTSC tapes, so a lot of Euro spec TVs can handle it. Is there a problem with game speed like it is ...

https://reachcoding.eu/psx-memory-card-formatter
I've used this one to format my memory card when it didn't work for me.
Also, didn't work on PSone with PM-41 and PM41(2) boards (hangs on browser when try to enter manager). Is mc image format any problem? I've used .gme through MC Annihilator.

Re: Modchip and read quality
Hello again.
@TriMesh, is it possible to properly diagnose motherboard? My PU-18 struggles with reading discs (official included) even on good laser units that work like a charm on another PU-18 motherboard.

Re: PSNee further development
Hello,
Where can I buy flashed ATtiny for PAL PSone? I know that it doesn't support BIOS patching, but I have spare ONEchip for that. Also I want it as small as possible

Re: Modchip and read quality
Another bump. As stated before I have PSX 5502 and right now also PSone. So, I've burned two discs, both Sony Lead Data from Japan with 8x and 16x. 8x works good on PSone, nothing skips etc. On PSX however after some minutes game tends to load slower and stutter videos. I've moved ADM from 5502 to o...

Oh, so it's looks like it. There's no problem when open and close lid while ingame, so I guess You're right. Thanks again.

Re: PSone - two modchips simultaneously?
It's looks more like a problem with Taiyo Yuden disc - lol. Sony Lead Data/MBI and Ritek discs works better. Anyway thanks for clarifying and help.
Right now starting game copy from BIOS ends with "Please insert PlayStation disc". Too long wires?

Re: Modchip suggestion for PSOne with bios 4.1
I think that You can still use ONEchip, just without patching BIOS as it was designed for PSone. Also only six wires for stealth instead of 7 or 8.

Re: PSone - two modchips simultaneously?
Hey TriMesh, thanks for the answer. Is it good idea to place modchip like that green one so pin 6 wire would be really short? At first I wanted to place modchip on CXD2938Q but it's too high and shield wasn't fitting.
BTW, wire isolation have any impact on possibility of signal interference?

Re: PSone - two modchips simultaneously?
Okay, I have modchip inside of PSone with older board. Does wire lenght matter only for booting, or it could affect also reading disc during game? Also it's stealth install. https://i.imgur.com/ZyTTr4K.jpg It's not beautiful, but it works. The thing is, I have a feeling that it struggles a little mo...

Re: PSone - two modchips simultaneously?
Okay, I've asked here and there and one guy told me that chirping also happened on american board so it was either Mayumi/MM3. I remember someone else having issues with chirping noises (on an American PM-41 (2)) and after they replaced the pin 6 capacitor with a new one the noise went away. They mig...

Re: PSone - two modchips simultaneously?
So, Mayumi and Multimode also didn't release pin 6? That sucks. I asked some people around with newer motherboard with modchips about that.

PSone - two modchips simultaneously?
Hello As I stated in topic name. Could this work? Mostly because PAL PM41(2) tends to chirping with ONEchip. https://instaud.io/zDF https://assemblergames.com/threads/psone-poor-laser-or-something-else.63587/ So, to put it simply - use ONEchip for patching BIOS, and Mayumi for handling games. Does p...

Re: Modchip and read quality
Okay, I have installed Mayumi. Modchip works as intended, booting everything. But there's still problem regarding playing games. After ten minutes or so, fmv and music starts to stutter. Problem is, that this happens only on burned cds. Also load times are longer. Original games works ok. I moved la...
