Need help with Gran Turismo music mod

This is a hack I worked on: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/6852/ As stated in that page's description, when I put the Japanese music for the GT mode in, the sound effects became broken, as they are in different locations in the gt.ins file which is found in the MENU_IMG.ARC and also contains the s...

Is it possible to develop an app that runs Namco System 11 ROMs onto a PS1?

I know, this may be a weird question. Of course it's impossible to run Namco System 12 games on retail PS1 hardware since that arcade system has a higher CPU clock frequency, but I was wondering if it was even theoretically possible to create some sort of emulator for the PS1 that runs Namco System ...

Re: [Hardware Mod] NTSC/PAL reference oscillator mod for PU-18

It looks like the SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis also uses a 53.693 MHz oscillator for NTSC and a 53.20 MHz one for PAL. So it might be a good idea to salvage an oscillator from a broken MD console, too...

Re: [Hardware Mod] NTSC/PAL reference oscillator mod for PU-

I have a question about this. I noticed that when playing my Japanese copy of Gran Turismo 2 on my PAL console, the opening movie will have an audio-video desyncing that increases with time (no desyncing at first, but very noticeable desyncing after a while). Will just getting an RGB cable fix this...

Here's a picture that explains how to do this mod on an SCPH-102 console:
