Re: PSNee further development
Here you go. You can use the 3.5V and ground connection from the PU-8 install pic. Perfect as always, rama3! :praise Picked up an old unit; I think the CD drive is near-enough shot, but I can always replace that at some point :D will let you know how it goes! That's funny, I had a PU-8 SCPH-1001 la...

Re: PSNee further development
I wish I did. I might pick up one of the simple kit ones soon, not sure how much help it'd be though.rama3 wrote:You probably don't have an oscilloscope, do you?

Re: PSNee further development
Yep. It sounds like you initially flashed the ATtiny version onto the Arduino, right? I don't think the IDE will allow you to do this but it's surely possible somehow. It's best if you disconnect the 4 signal wires (power wires can stay on) and check PSX functionality. no I made very certain to fla...

Re: PSNee further development
I think I might have to completely disconnect it to test if the unit functions normally without any modifications.LiGhTMaGiCk wrote:I still get the same result on mine.rama3 wrote:Well, there won't be any new features. All that might happen is better reliability across multiple boards and chips.
So yea, zip her up! :p

Re: PSNee further development
I haven't tested my latest changes on all configurations but I know it might fix some issues you guys have. So here you go. // PsNee / psxdev.net version // For Arduino and ATtiny // // Quick start: Select your hardware via the #defines, compile + upload the code, install in PSX. // There are some ...

Re: PSNee further development
Okay, that looks to be correct :) How did you program it? I don't see remains of an ISP flasher. I used an FT232RL FTDI USB to TTL serial converter adapter, like this one, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IJXZQ7C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vTEzzbDM1M9RY I'll try re flashing it but it showed that it completed s...

Re: PSNee further development
LiGhTMaGiCk: Post a picture please. damopinn: I found / fixed a problem that could be causing this. I'll update soon. I knew you would say that, I'm the doofus who decided to put it back together screws and all before verifying that it worked. :P https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifep4yzeo74fj6b/20170711_2...

Re: PSNee further development
Pro mini 16Mhz is perfect and use it with 3.5V. I've tested these boards installed in a PSX with variable 3.5V supply and they work fine down to 3.0V, which is the minimum before the PSX power supply controller shuts off the rail ;) Element18592 uses an Arduino with a different layout. I will have ...
