Broke the pad on the Nano, or broke it on the PSX? The PSX has many places to take Vcc from. Just don't take it from any analog sections. By the way, I don't know if the Nano is compatible. Hey there peps, i'm here to ask you some help, while trying to install my Arduino nano, i removed the requiered pad to provide 3.5v (aka 3.3v to the arduino) is there another place to grab the volts ? If not, is there a way to fix this ? Thanks....

I really need to change my soldering Iron...

By the way guys, do you know any stock pot value for my 5502 PS1, i didn't tried that but it could be one of the issues i have since my PS1 took a nap for approximatly 15 years... :lol:

Thanks Rama, i ordered the arduino to make the mod myself, i will be able to manage thing if it went wrong, which was impossible with this previously installed PIC :)

Pro mini 16Mhz is perfect and use it with 3.5V. I've tested these boards installed in a PSX with variable 3.5V supply and they work fine down to 3.0V, which is the minimum before the PSX power supply controller shuts off the rail ;) Element18592 uses an Arduino with a different layout. Thanks for your reply, I've read the previous page where Element18592 got problem with his arduino nano running hot, Is there a chance that i got in the same situation with an arduino pro mini (5v 16m) or is it prefereable to go 5v 8m ?
