I've been searching everywhere for PU-8 Mechacon placements/pinouts without success for a SCPH-1000 series install :crying . Does anyone know where I can find some specs/service diagrams so I can work out the SQCK & SUBQ placements?

Glad I could help. But I've got to disappoint you with the re-wiring a bit, I'm afraid :p The WFCK signal offers some advantages I want to use, so that'll be one extra pin / wire. Might be. Unfortunately, SQCK isn't available on the top side as a test point or even a via.
